Gustavo Timo has been appointed as President, Jessica Inge as Vice President of Operations and Strategy, and Nicolas Caram as Vice President of Destination and Business Development.
These appointments mark a pivotal moment for ATTA as it prepares for an iconic Summit and an ambitious lineup of global events in 2026, reinforcing its mission to foster responsible adventure travel worldwide.
Born in Brazil, Gustavo Timo has nearly three decades of experience in ecotourism and adventure travel. He began as a guide and inbound tour operator before co-founding the Brazilian Adventure and Ecotourism Trade Association, and later joined ATTA in 2017. Since then, he has played a leading role in advancing sustainability standards, capacity building, and market activation projects across Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. His leadership has consistently focused on connecting the private and public sectors, bridging global networks, and positioning adventure travel as a force for good.
“I am honored to take on the role of President,” says Timo. “This new chapter is about focus, impact, and responsibility. Together with our members, partners, and global team, we will strengthen ATTA’s role as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the adventure travel sector. We will focus on what ATTA delivers best: Membership engagement, high value events and transformational knowledge projects.”
Jessica Inge, newly appointed Vice President of Operations and Strategy, brings over 20 years of leadership experience across operations, strategy, and organizational transformation. Her career includes managing complex global programs and building resilient internal systems that drive efficiency and accountability. Since joining ATTA, Inge has led efforts to improve strategic planning, operational alignment, and data-driven decision-making, helping the organization scale its impact while staying rooted in its mission and community.
“ATTA’s community inspires me daily,” Inge shares. “My work has always centered on connecting people, purpose, and process; ensuring how we work reflects why we do it. In this role, my focus is to build the structures that help our team thrive and empower our members, creating the foundation for long-term impact and shared success.”
Nicolas Caram, taking on the role of Vice President of Destination and Business Development, has more than 15 years of experience working with governments, development agencies, and private-sector partners to grow adventure travel responsibly. He has played a central role in destination development projects across Latin America and beyond, helping communities harness tourism as a driver of cultural preservation, conservation, and economic growth. With a background that blends business development and international partnerships, Caram has become a trusted connector for destinations seeking to position themselves in the global adventure marketplace.
“Adventure travel transforms communities,” Caram affirms. “I look forward to working with destinations and partners worldwide to unlock their potential and ensure that responsible adventure tourism becomes a pillar of their sustainable growth.”
