SEATTLE, WA – Cruise West, the largest American-owned cruise line and leader in small-ship cruising, has appointed Nancy McConnell as Manager of American Automobile Association (AAA) Sales & Marketing for all AAA clubs from the Midwest to the East Coast. As a result of Cruise West’s recent growth with new ships and itineraries, they found this an ideal time to add additional resources for AAA travel partners. McConnell joins Julie Smith, a sales representative at Cruise West for more than six years who will now be managing the West Coast and Canada AAA clubs.
McConnell brings more than 15 years experience in the luxury travel business. Most recently, McConnell spent three years with TCS Expeditions, first as international expedition leader and later as director of non-profit sales. McConnell gained additional operations experience as cruise director at Clipper Cruise Line and international travel director with Intrav, Inc. She also has extensive marketing and public relations experience.
