NEW YORK, NY (April 10, 2007) – Outside magazine announced today the appointments of Robin Lee and Jason Mayo as Southern California account managers. Both will report to New York based Publisher Scott Parmelee.
Prior to joining Outside magazine, Lee was the West Coast Account Executive at Harper & Associates where he oversaw sales for BlackBook Media Corp. and Paste magazine. His clients included Microsoft Zune, Helio, T-Mobile Sidekick and MINI Cooper. Lee has also held positions at Saatchi & Saatchi, Rubin Postaer and Associations and McCann-Erickson.
Jason Mayo joins Outside also as a Southern California account manager. He comes to Outside from Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., where he was corporate regional sales director in charge of initiating sales for multi-title print buys for more than 15 magazines. Mayo also held the position of advertising account manager for Men’s Health magazine where he increased revenue by 17% in the Southwest market. Mayo has also held positions at OMD/TBWA Chiat/Day and Foote, Cone & Belding.
