Explora Appoints Paula Rodríguez as Marketing and Communications Manager

Santiago, CHILE – The South American eco-adventure operator explora has announced the appointment of Paula Rodríguez as Marketing and Communications Manager. Arriving at company headquarters in Santiago, Chile, with close to a decade of commercial and marketing experience, Rodríguez oversees coordination of marketing and communications for explora, including devising innovative strategies to get word out about the authentic adventure and luxury of the essential that await travelers in the remote regions of the continent the company explores.

Rodríguez reports directly to Danilo Buvinic, Global Sales Manager of explora.

Prior to joining explora, Rodríguez honed her talents in the retail arena for eight years with focus on commercial sales and marketing including participation in the opening of the first Burberry store in Chile at the Parque Arauco mall in Santiago. Previously, she was with Komax, Chile-based distributor of renowned international brands such as Ralph Lauren, The North Face, Brooks Brothers and Banana Republic, where she created the company’s Customer Knowledge Division and also launched the first Gap in South America. Rodríguez began her career in advertising with TBWA London and GREY Madrid.

Born in Madrid and raised in Santiago, Rodríguez earned a degree in Business and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she is currently an MBA candidate.
