EverGreen Escapes, an adventure travel company headquartered in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon expands to cover the entire “Cascadia” region. Our mission is to provide authentic and sustainable outdoor experiences that feature locally-sourced organic fare, delicious micro-brews and our renowned Washington and Oregon wines. Our tours, or “Escapes,” stretch from British Columbia to Northern California. Many of our tours are specifically designed to highlight destinations in the heart of the Cascade Mountains such as Mt. Rainier National Park, North Cascades National Park, Mt St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, and Mt Hood National Forest. We also feature scenic coastal lowlands including the San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands, the Columbia River Gorge, the Oregon Coast and the Olympic National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This entire region is rich in natural history, agriculture, Native American folklore, and incredible people and scenery.
Cascadian Bioregionalism deals with the connected ecological, environmental, economic and cultural ties that bind the Pacific Northwest states, Northern California and the Province of British Columbia.
