Shannon Stowell was quoted in a recent article in The Jordan Times, about the visiting delegation of American travel industry executives on a trip called “Restoring the Journey: Support Travel to Egypt and Jordan.” Stowell has been touring the two countries to view the current state of tourism infrastructure as well as show support for the recovery of their tourism industries:

“We know that Jordan is safe, but we need to deliver the message to our customers,” Adventure Travel Trade Association President Shannon Stowell noted.

The delegates said they would use social media tools to spread the message.

ATTA has covered the trip on its Facebook page, and on Twitter, via @adventuretweets and @attastowell.

Follow up coverage will be forthcoming, and detailed background on the trip details can be found at this previous AdventureTravelNews feature: Delegation Seeks to Restore Confidence in Travel to Jordan and Egypt.
