Wilderness Group announces the acquisition of MV Luxury Travel (MVLT), a highly regarded inbound luxury tour operator specialising in customised direct-to-consumer holidays across the UK and Ireland, primarily serving high-net-worth travellers from the United States.
Founded in 2019 by Struan Baird and Ruaridh Norton, Edinburgh-based MVLT has experienced
remarkable growth in recent years and will join the Wilderness Group brands, bringing further scale and operational expertise in premium custom travel. Combining these two successful businesses will create the leading luxury and experiential inbound tour operator in the UK and Ireland.
Wilderness Group Founder, Paul Easto said: "MVLT has experienced remarkable growth in recent
years and, as part of the Wilderness Group, will bring further scale and operational expertise in
experiential, tailor-made travel. We're truly excited about the collaborative opportunities for learning, development and growth.”
Struan Baird and Ruaridh Norton, Co-founders of MVLT, added: “After six years building MVLT and
its associated brands, we are excited for MVLT to have found a new home as part of Wilderness
Group, a travel group we have a very high regard for. Our businesses are highly complementary, and we look forward to seeing them flourish in the years ahead.”
White Hart Associates and HCR Law provided transaction support. Summit Advisory Corporate
Finance & Hill Dickinson LLP Solicitors, Manchester supported MVLT.
