From June 14 – 24, the Adventure Travel Trade Association hosted a group of tour operators and media on a special trip to explore Ecuador. The AdventureWeek Ecuador itinerary gave participants a chance to see the distinct and diverse “worlds” the country contains. Storytellers Mark Crawford and Hassen Salum were along for the trip to document the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the swims in thermal pools and waterfalls; the bike rides, horseback rides, hikes and sky-bike rides, the encounters with wild birds, giant butterflies and tropical plants; the new flavors and new friends.

We share these images with you so that you’ll understand why AdventureWeek participants came home understanding the country’s bold slogan “All You Need is Ecuador.”
