The Rainforest Alliance-certified operator offers a 4-day Inca Trail trek and a 5-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu, both of which depart three times weekly with a minimum of two guests. Tucano Peru also offers a 12-day Best of Peru small-group departure leaving the first Saturday of each month with a minimum of four and maximum of ten guests. Tucano Peru operates its own regular departures of the Inca Trail trek each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (except in February when the Inca Trail is closed) and the lesser-traveled Salkantay trek each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The Best of Peru monthly set departure is a comprehensive itinerary which includes the often overlooked highlights of colonial Arequipa and the magnificent Colca Canyon, as well as the perennial must-see sights of Cusco, the Urubamba Valley, Machu Picchu and Lima. The group departure is priced from $1782 per person net sharing and private departures are available daily on request throughout the year.
