Travelweek.ca announced a new partnership with the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) in May 2016.
Travelweek is Canada’s best read and most trusted source for travel industry news. Started in 1973 and committed to delivering in-depth and relevant news coverage plus special editorial features on specific destinations or niche travel such as Adventure Travel in every issue, to Canadian travel agents and industry professionals with a database of just over 30,000+.
“The Canadian market is important to the Adventure Travel Trade Association as we build our membership and partnerships across North America,” said Casey Hanisko, ATTA’s VP, Marketing & Communications. “Travelweek’s connections to travel agents and the tourism industry in Canada is key and we hope our ability to help educate their audience on adventure travel experiences and benefits to their industry will be mutually beneficial.”
Travelweek continues to be the market leader as the definitive source for career opportunities within the Canadian travel industry. Travelweek now publishes The Travel Professional, a valuable resource with a one year shelf life that is published monthly.
The many different editions cover areas such as Europe, USA, Cruising, Far & Away and Luxury Travel. Travelweek also offers online options such as a daily e-newsletter (TravelweekDaily) to home based agents (Sphere) and to French speaking agents (Profession Voyages). Travelweek is the leader in social media with the highest metrics of any travel trade publication in Canada.
“Travelweek is very happy to be partnered with ATTA where we hope to engage the adventure travel niche market and connect them with the Canadian travel agents selling these adventures,” said Laura Di Nardo, Travelweek’s business development manager.
Travelweek’s Learning Centre is where Canadian travel agents go to learn about travel products and programs. Travelweek continues to be the industry leader on new innovative products such as videos and virtual reality.
Travelweek will be offering ATTA members exclusive rates to come into adventure focused spotlights in Travelweek and Travel Professional editions in 2016 and 2017. Operators will have a choice between bundled packages at discounted rates. Custom packages can also be created to fit your budgets and needs in Canada. Travelweek will be releasing the official sales sheet at this year’s AdventureELEVATE, where Laura Di Nardo will be on hand to explain the partnership benefits.
“We are excited to work with new operators looking to reach the Canadian market in a unique way through the variety of digital and print products Travelweek is able to offer,” said Travelweek director, Toni De Fino.
