Los Angeles, CA – Travel2’s annual booking incentive allowed sixty lucky advisors from around the US and Canada to attend the third annual #AmazingAussieAdventure.
Advisors experienced some of the most incredible sights downunder visiting the Northern Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and the North Island of New Zealand.
In the Outback, all 60 advisors gathered to experience the majestic sights of Uluru at Voyages Ayers Rock Resorts’ 5 star Sails in the Desert hotel. Highlights included private tours of Ayers Rock/Uluru with AAT Kings, live entertainment featuring a Priscilla Queen of the Desert show, a dance floor with live dancing camels, and a private Sounds of Silence dinner under the stars experience.
Travel2 & Tourism Northern Territory then joined forces with over 44 Australian suppliers, tourism boards, and airlines to provide educational sessions for travel advisors via one-on-one training. This year’s #AmazingAussieAdventure ended with a famil day where attendees experienced the history and culture of the outback and master chef challenge to sample various outback meats like Crocodile skewers, Kangaroo steaks, and Emu sausages
During #AmazingAussieAdventure, advisors uploaded pictures & videos on Travel2’s Facebook page using the hashtag #AmazingAussieAdventure so friends, family, and clients could see their incredible journey unfold. Over the course of their travels, over 1,800 pictures were uploaded!
#AmazingAussieAdventure was a hugely successful event enabling advisors to experience the best of Australia, engage with suppliers, share stories, and provide their knowledge to clients across the US and Canada.
