Light My Fire presents MyCup’n Lid - a brand new reusable mug and lid for your everyday take-out coffee in the city and your weekend "outnics." The new mug has the potential to put an end to single-use cups once and for all.

Made at Light My Fire’s own factory in Västervik, Sweden, with organic materials sustainably sourced from certified sugarcane and wood fibers, the new mug is the latest nature-based cup. A tight-fitting lid with a sip-hole fits our reusable straw perfectly and the whole range comes in four nature-inspired colours.

"We do not know everything about the future, but we know that we must change our behavior. When it comes to the use of disposable products, things are not moving fast enough. At Light My Fire, we are constantly working to find new ways to a more sustainable world, and we only develop new products when they are needed to drive development in the right direction. My Cup’n Lid is our latest weapon in the fight against disposable products”, says Calill Odqvist Jagusch, CEO of Light My Fire.

MyCup’n Lid comes in two sizes: original and short. MyCup’n Lid original maintains standard barista size: 12 fl oz. You can be certain your take-out latte will fit and you won’t have to use the coffee shop's disposable cup. MyCup’n Lid short holds 8 fl oz and is perfect for when you bring your thermos or bottle on your "outnic. " My Cup’n’Lid is a sturdy, stackable, dishwasher-safe.

Bioplastics – THE FACTS

  1. Bioplastic is an umbrella term used for plastics that are biobased, biodegradable, or both.
  2. Biobased plastics are made fully, or in part, from plants or other biological matter.
  3. Biodegradable plastics can be partly or fully made from plants or other biological matter BUT can also be fossil-based. Biodegradable means that the material is compostable. But in the majority of cases – only in an industrial, controlled process. Left in nature on its own, a biodegradable piece of plastic will take decades to compost.
Light My Fire has chosen to only use biobased plastics. Please read more about the materials used. Light My Fire is 100 % transparent and you can see exactly what each product contains.
