Sky Vacations, one of the leading outbound tour operators in North America has announced its membership with Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), the largest global network of adventure travel leaders.

“Our client’s requests for adventure travel has been gaining momentum over the past few years and one thing is clear - the term ‘adventure travel’ is changing. For some, adventure travel means jumping out of plane or climbing a mountain. And while that may be true for one segment of travelers, to others it means snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, hiking in Japan, cycling in Puglia, camping in the desert of AlUla or rafting on the Ganges”, says Richard Krieger, Director of Sky Vacations.

“As a tour operator, we take the trust placed in us by our travel agent partners very seriously. They come to us not only for creative and exciting travel planning, but expect us to maintain the highest level of responsibility and ATTA’s unifying philosophy of community, shared belief of sustainable and responsible tourism tie in perfectly with our ethos. The Sky Vacations portfolio continues to evolve. As the world changes, as our industry changes, we’re excited to continuously add new product to our collection. Upcoming programs include e-bike touring in Portugal, cruising in Antarctica and safari experiences in Tanzania. And we won’t stop there. The more that’s demanded of us, the better we become.”

Sky Vacations is pleased to join ATTA and its over 30,000 members of the global travel community transforming people and places through adventure travel.
