Salt Lake City, UT — Resmark Systems, comprehensive tour operator software created by professional tour operators to help travel businesses secure and track reservations, has seen strong growth with a nearly 300 percent increase in revenue since 2010.
Much of the company’s recent growth is attributed to new products and time-saving features Resmark Systems has introduced to the marketplace, said Chip Broyles, Client Success Manager for Resmark. These include intuitive online and mobile booking processes, and, most recently, WaiverSign, a digital liability waiver application.
“More and more tour companies are realizing the incredible benefits of having a reservation system that not only books their tours 24/7 (on desktop and mobile), but also a system that will automate marketing and get more sales. I also believe it’s not just the product that tour operators love, it’s our people. We have some excellent sales and support folks who really understand the industry and can help our clients beyond just their software needs,” said Broyles, underscoring that Resmark is different from other reservation systems because it was developed from within the industry with a deeper understanding of the needs of tour and activity providers.
Additional ancillary services and products complimenting existing Resmark offerings will continue to enhance core products, he said.

Alaska Alpine Adventures
This is Alaska Alpine Adventure’s 15th year guiding wilderness expeditions in Alaska’s national parks and wildlife refuges. After utilizing Salesforce software for leads and bookings in the past, Alaska Alpine Adventures has taken advantage of Resmark’s online booking capabilities and quickly setup each track of the automated email campaign.
American Queen Steamboat
As the largest steamboat built in the United States, the American Queen is currently the only authentic overnight paddlewheel operational in America. Shore Excursions of America operates day excursions and tours of port cities along the way. One of the most prominent reasons for purchasing Resmark was the ability for guests to pay for reservations utilizing onboard credit as well as normal credit card transactions.
Predator Zip Line
Predator Zip Line is a new zip line operation opening in the spring of 2013 in Camp Verde, AZ. Guests will be strapped into a harness and will soar over some of nature’s fiercest predators while zipping over the Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Resmark’s mobile online reservation functionality, especially geared to guests booking on tablets and other mobile devices such as smart phones will be a priority for Predator Zip Line.
Green River Adventures
Located in Saluda, NC, Green River Adventures has been operating kayak trips on the Lower and Upper Green River since 2006. In May of 2013, Green River Adventures is also opening The Gorge Zip Line, a tree-top canopy tour descending 1,100 vertical feet over the Green River Gorge. Resmark’s capability to handle two different divisions within the same database we integral in Green River’s decision to select Resmark as their reservation and marketing solution. In addition, Resmark’s gift certificate functionality and automated email campaigns were two of the most important aspects of the system for Green River Adventures.
Jamaica Zipline Tours
Jamaica Zip Line Tours is a part of Zipline Adventure Tours, a U.S. based company that includes three other zip line operations in North America: Alpine Adventures, New York Zipline Tours and Red River Gorge Tours; all of which are current Resmark clients. With the purchase of Resmark, Jamaica Zipline Tours is looking to expand their online sales and profits and solidify their position as a premier adventure tour operator on the island country of Jamaica.
Mountain River Outfitters
Mountain River Outfitters is based in Riggins, ID and operates rafting and fishing trips on the Snake and Salmon Rivers in Idaho, as well as Oregon’s Owyhee River. Prior to the purchase of Resmark, Mountain River Outfitters utilized an internal booking system. Crucial to the purchase of Resmark was the online booking capabilities and online marketing.
New to Resmark in March of 2013, Raven’s Rim is a startup zip line adventure located in the heart of Moab, UT, a world-renowned mecca for adventure enthusiasts. Raven’s Rim staff was quickly able to setup their entire operation and inventory within the Resmark application in a very short amount of time. The ease of setup with Resmark was crucial for Raven’s Rim to capitalize on the early spring influx of visitors to the Moab area. Raven’s Rim began taking customers on its course the first week of April, 2013.
Big Bear Expeditions
Situated in the heart of the Smoky Mountains in Hartford, TN, Big Bear Expeditions is a startup whitewater rafting company located on the Pigeon River. Big Bear Expeditions officially opens Memorial Day weekend. Since millions of travelers visit the Smokies each summer and over 50% of them book the day or two before a trip, Big Bear Expeditions is eager to utilize Resmark’s new online reservation platform with a fully-responsive design that is ideal for smartphones. The owners of Big Bear were impressed by Resmark’s presence within the Smoky Mountain region, as many of the most successful outfitters in the area have chosen Resmark Systems to be their tour operator software solution.
Kerfoot Canopy Tours
Kerfoot Canopy Tour is a new zip line opening Memorial Day weekend of 2013. Kerfoot Canopy Tour is less than an hour outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul and will offer a unique way to explore the Minnesota River Valley. Online bookings and gift certificates will be important Resmark features as Kerfoot Canopy Tours grows, as well as Resmark’s extensive reporting capabilities.
Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships
Liberty Fleet of Tall Ships has offered Boston Harbor sailing excursions and week-long Caribbean cruises aboard classic tall ships since 1993. Both the 125-foot Liberty Clipper classic wooden schooner and the 67-foot Liberty Star offer a variety of tours daily from June through September. Liberty Fleet’s unique resource management requirements involving cabins, as well as individual beds, on each of their tall ships, proved to be a problem for other reservation systems investigated by Liberty Fleet owners. Resmark Systems and it’s powerful resource management functionality was crucial in Liberty Fleet’s decision to utilize Resmark and allowing them to sell both half day tours and overnight guests on their ships, while at the same time maximizing online sales potential.
