PROMPERÚ Invites Adventure Media to Experience the “Land of Hidden Treasures”

_09A8073(SEATTLE) June 9, 2015Peru Tourism Board (PromPeru), a long time partner of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA; www.adventuretravel.biz), is inviting members of the adventure travel media to participate in a press trip to Peru. The fully hosted FAM trip will take place July 31 – August 8, 2015.

Peru is a vibrant country that fascinates travelers with its diversity, culture, gastronomy, traditions and archeological sites. With over 5,000 years of history, Peru ranks amongst the world’s greatest centers of ancient civilization. PromPeru wants to showcase the “Land of Hidden Treasures” itinerary to travel writers and editors who have worked with the ATTA or its members.

MLP Recomendadas-99Selected participants will travel to Lima, the “City of Kings,” where they will visit the greatest monumental complex of colonial art in America, and to the World Heritage Site of Cusco, capital of the Inca empire. While staying at Peru’s beautiful mountain lodges, writers and editors will have the chance to visit the archeological site of Pisaq, the small town of Choquecancha with its imposing Inca ruins and colonial church, and the glorious Machu Picchu, one of the world’s most impressive world heritage sites.
