Partnership includes custom content, social media integration and consumer giveaways
Santa Fe, NM — OUTSIDE Magazine, America’s foremost active and adventure lifestyle brand, has enlisted leading outdoor lifestyle apparel company Toad&Co to find the best town in the United States. Over a period of six weeks, OUTSIDE’s readers will narrow an initial bracket of 64 towns down to one winner: the kind of place with top-notch restaurants, vibrant farmers’ markets, friendly neighborhoods, and unparalleled access to hiking and biking trails. In short, the perfect jumping-off point for adventure.
Beginning April 20th, OUTSIDE and Toad&Co will engage and incentivize consumers to vote early and often in the competition through a sweepstakes drawing. Seven drawings will occur, one after the end of each round of voting, with winners receiving Toad&Co apparel packages. Winners of the Grand Prize will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Best Town Ever fully outfitted in Toad&Co. The Best Town will be revealed on August 1st.
OUTSIDE’s Best Towns will retain last year’s popular head-to-head format with one major change: readers will pick four of the 64 towns that will make up the initial bracket through a social media-driven Wild Card voting process. After the Wild Card voting, there will be six additional rounds of voting on Outside Online. Readers will be able to vote once per round for each matchup. The winners will advance until the final two towns face off in a showdown to determine which is the Best Town of 2015.

This additional content, which will be featured on Outside Online, was made possible through this new partnership with Toad&Co. Additionally, the OUTSIDE editorial team is working with the outdoor lifestyle apparel company to create an exciting and meaningful experience that aligns with Toad&Co’s brand philosophy to live well, do good, and keep good company.
