New #Awesomestralia Campaign Features Agent Incentives, Social Chats and Savings of up to 25% on Australia

G Adventures Partners with Tourism Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Air Canada

Leading small-group adventure travel tour operator G Adventures announces the launch of a new campaign that showcases the awesome experiences found only in Australia. The promotion is presented in partnership with Tourism Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Air Canada.

Dubbed #Awesomestralia, the multipronged program includes incentives for agents and their clients, social media activities and a host of webinars.

“Following the successful introduction of our Australia line-up earlier this year, we saw over 90 percent of all tours fully booked through2013. For 2014 we’ve expanded our collection of trips and we’re excited to be collaborating with our partners to further raise awareness of this amazing country,” says Steve Lima, US marketing manager. “There’s so much to experience in Australia and we hope this initiative will encourage agent’s clients to visit.”

“The #Awesomestralia initiative with G Adventures is a fantastic opportunity for agents and their clients to take advantage of incentives, deals and to learn why there’s nothing like Australia,” says Jane Whitehead, Tourism Australia vice president, the Americas. “G Adventures brilliantly showcases Australia’s awesome experiences from swimming with sea lions in South Australia to making your own wine blend through interesting social applications and insider knowledge from expert travelers with first-hand experience.”

Agent FAM Contest

Through to December 15, 2013, the four American and four Canadian agents who sell the most G Adventures Australia tours, for travel by December 15, 2014, will receive a spot on an exclusive nine-day adventure from Adelaide to Cairns, including flights provided by Air Canada.

A bonus space will also be awarded to the North American agent who books the most Australian tours in conjunction with Air Canada flights booked through G Adventures.

The winning agents must be available to travel on the FAM from April 26 to May 4, 2014.

Clients Save up to 25 percent

Through to December 15, 2013, agents’ clients can save up to 25 percent on all Australia trips offered by the tour operator, for travel by December 15, 2014.

Travelers save 15 percent (promo code: AWE15) on all Australia trips and 20 percent (promo code: AWELA20) when tours are booked with round-trip international flights through G Adventures.

Travelers who book the Red Centre to Adelaide, Red Centre to Melbourne or Great Ocean Road East-Adelaide to Melbourne tours save 20 percent (promo code: AWE20) and 25 percent when booked with round-trip international flights through G Adventures.

Bi-Weekly Prizes

Every two weeks, a prize pack valued at $500 will be randomly awarded to a North American agent who books any G Adventures Australia trip. Agents will receive an entry for every booking made. Prizes include a$500 AMEX gift card, Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge passes and other fun items.

Getting Social about Australia

On Wednesday, November 13th at 4pm EST, G Adventures will host a Twitter chat to discuss all things Australia. Interested agents should follow hashtag #Awesomestralia. Contributors include:

The first #Awesomestralia webinar took place on October 30, 2013. Three more webinars, hosted by Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory, will be announced in the coming weeks.
