Mountain Travel Sobek has announced key internal management changes to enhance global product and simplify internal operations across the company.
Anne Wood, previously Director of Europe Programs, will become Senior Director of Product & Partnerships. This new role will oversee all external relationships with outfitters and third-party affiliates, and will ensure a consistent strategic direction across products and brands.
The company has also promoted Jessica Jones to the role of Senior Director of Operations. In this new role, Jessica will coordinate internal systems across departments and develop product standards across trip portfolios.
Julia Hendershot will also take on a new position as Senior Manager Operations & Partnerships to ensure that internal procedures across all brands are integrated and executed consistently. This is the second promotion for Julia in two years.
All members of this new management teamwork at Mountain Travel Sobek’s Emeryville office and will be key in driving the success of the company in advance of its 50th anniversary in 2019.
