Mirantes Mototravel is a privately owned motorcycle tour operator, based in Volta Redonda – Rio de Janeiro State – Brazil. Our goal is, to take our clients on a Dual sdiscovery expedition, not only visiting a number of traditional touristic locations, but also showing them the “real” Brazil, that reveals itself, once you leave the touristic places and the big cities behind and venture into the more remote areas, where the natural, historical and cultural beauty in combination with the hospitality and friendliness of the local people will forever change ones way to see Brazil.
Currently, we offer three tours across the South-east and the North-east regions of Brazil.

- A 14 day journey into the heart of the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. We start off following the coast to the north crossing the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo. Then we enter the state of Bahia, still following the coast further north, coming across many small fishing communities and some of the most famous surfing spots of Brazil. We leave the coast behind and head inland to visit Bahia’s most famous national park, the Chapada Diamantina, also known by some as Brazil’s lost world. After exploring the park, we head back south, to the state of Minas Gerais, and follow the Jequitinhonha River all the way up to Diamantina, from where we take the historic route southbound to Rio de Janeiro, via some of the most important historical cities in Brazil.
Geographic Reach/Areas of Operation
We currently operate primarily in the South-east and north-east regions of Brazil, but are looking into expanding our activities to the South region and the Pantanal.
We would like to connect especially with agencies that are interested in selling our tours to their customers, and also with operators of outdoors activities (rafting, kayak, rappel…) in the areas we will ride through, since we would like to include some of these activities in our tours.
