The Mediterranean Adventures brand was launched at ATWS 2022 in Lugano, Switzerland. Mediterranean Adventures promotes sustainable adventure tourism products and experiences reflecting the authenticity and natural and cultural highlights in off-the-beaten-track parts of Catalonia, Puglia, Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia.
It aims to increase international tourist arrivals in participating destinations and to give destinations and their official partners a more robust market positioning in the global travel market through joint marketing activities and branding.
“Mediterranean Adventures contributes to raising the competitiveness of the local tourism businesses and generating benefits for the local communities,” says Lina Al Khaled. “It will promote mainly soft adventure tourism activities such as hiking, biking, or trekking and local cultural experiences with a focus on sustainability.
One of the promotional activities of Mediterranean Adventurers is a FAM trip to these lesser-known parts of Catalonia, Puglia, Jordan, and Lebanon.
