In Magri Turismo we are taking advantage of the time we have in quarantine, so we can keep improving and growing, for when tourism returns to the country, and we still will be able to provide the best possible service to our visitors. Without any doubts, the guides are one of our most important assets and this is why, on the past 20th of April, we had our first virtual meeting with them. The goals? To get to know us each other better, share experiences and ideas, but most of all, to talk about the best possible way that we can still help them, since many of them dedicate their 100% time to tourism.

We have been constantly running trainings to our guides, in different topics such as first aid, customer service, among others. Nevertheless, now, during the days under quarantine we decided to keep on going with these trainings, virtually, where our guides are the ones conducting the sessions. They share their knowledge to their fellow colleagues, in different subjects were each of them is an expert. In this way, we will provide them with some economical support.

The general reception of this idea has been so positive, that we decided to extend this training sessions also to local experts such as: university teachers, archaeologists, historians, photographers, chefs, among others. They will share their expertise with our guides. We have also included our local providers who will present their destinations and operability, like Uyuni Salt Flats, Titicaca Lake and many others more.

With this, the guides will receive free enriching knowledge which definitely will help them to offer a better experience to our tourists. These virtual trainings will be sustainable over time and besides, they are open not only for the guides working with us, but also for all the freelance guides in the country.

Our guides are ready for a comeback and await the tourists with open arms!
