Lucinda Green will be riding alongside those booked to go to Macatoo between 30th November to 7th December 2012…an even better reason to book a safari with In The Saddle.

This isn’t the first time that Lucinda has ridden in the Okavango Delta, this will be her third visit.

“We believe we provide the very best riding holidays around the world,” says Olwen Law from In The Saddle, “but having the chance to ride with a horsewoman like Lucinda really adds an extra dimension.  We’ve been able to offer our clients the opportunity to ride with Mark Todd and Mary King as well, and judging by the feedback we have received, we know how much this can add to an already amazing experience.”

Lucinda is one of Great Britain’s eventing greats, with a World Championship win, six Badminton wins, a silver Olympic medal and numerous selections for the British team under her belt.

As for Macatoo, the Okavango Delta is the largest inland Delta in the world and houses many species of bird, giraffe, elephant, hippo, lion, zebra, antelope and a lot more.  Riders might find themselves galloping though water meadows with giraffe, stalking big game, or just taking in the amazing scenery.  Macatoo has won The Good Safari Guide’s Best Riding Safari for two consecutive years, in 2009 and 2010.
