Intrepid Travel, the worldwide adventure travel company, has announced a contribution of $10,000 AUD (just over $10,000 US) to the New Zealand Red Cross towards recovery efforts from the recent earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Australian-headquartered company, which offers some 15 itineraries in New Zealand, has also announced that it will double any contributions made by staff members to the cause. Intrepid employs some 1,000 personnel worldwide.
