In The Saddle’s recent Riding Holiday Show was such a success that the company has already started to plan next year’s event which will be held on 5th November 2011.

The Riding Holiday Show gave visitors the chance to find out more about riding holidays in general and in specific locations with 29 rides present throughout.  Ride representatives from the four corners of the globe came to the show including Estancia Huechahue from Argentina, African Horseback Safaris from Botswana, Ride Andes in Equador, Castle Leslie in Ireland, Alentejo Trails in Portugal, Choetar Adventures in Tibet and Ant Collection in South Africa, to name but a few.

In addition, visitors were treated to a range of talks running throughout the day.  These included a number of guides, such as Audrey Bogini from Georgia and Sally Vergette from Equador; but also included two speakers not connected with specific rides.  As an In The Saddle client, International three day event rider Mary King gave a fascinating talk about her early life with horses and the key people and horses who have featured in her life, and equestrian photographer Simon Palmer provided visitors with some top tips on photographing horses.

“We had a great event and were delighted to see so many people who share our passion for riding holidays,” says Olwen Law, Managing Director for In The Saddle.  “Our numbers were up 13% on last year and with so much positive feedback to work with, we’re already planning next year’s event!”

Details for next year’s event are available on In The Saddle’s dedicated Riding Holiday Show website www.ridingholidayshow.com.
