G Adventures, the pioneer of community tourism, is excited to announce a new partnership with AAA Travel as a preferred adventure travel partner. This collaboration will bring G Adventures’ unique brand of community-centered travel, with over 1,000 small-group trips worldwide, to AAA's more than 65 million members across North America.

As part of the partnership, G Adventures’ Timothy Knight has been promoted to National Accounts Sales Manager, working with AAA travel advisors to provide specialized agent education, support and service.
In addition, an ongoing dedicated community tourism fund has been established in partnership with Planeterra, G Adventures’ non-profit partner, that will further boost the impact that AAA member bookings will have on local communities. The first project that will benefit is the Asociacion de Desarrollo Integral de San Luis (ADISL), a Costa Rican locally-run cooperative organization that runs much of the region’s resources while protecting and maintaining traditional culture and agricultural practices. G Adventures will make a monetary contribution to the project for each AAA-booked passenger that is booked on itineraries that visit this project. Once an agreed upon goal has been reached, a new project will be chosen for funding in partnership with AAA bookings.

This partnership will unlock a new channel for G Adventures among AAA's extensive membership base, by providing AAA travel advisors and their members with exclusive access to G Adventures' portfolio of small-group adventures spanning over 100 countries.
G Adventures was selected as AAA Travel's preferred adventure travel partner after a comprehensive evaluation process that assessed factors including product quality, safety standards, customer service excellence, and alignment with AAA's member-focused values. The partnership will enhance AAA Travel's ability to serve the growing demand for adventure and experiential travel among its membership.
