Ecuador’s ecological diversity is so great, it’s more than can fit within the borders of one country. Ecuador is four worlds: the magnificent Andes, the Amazon rainforest, the pristine coastline and the legendary Galapagos Islands. There is a wealth of ways to explore these four worlds and a variety of activities that immerse adventure travelers in the ecosystems and cultures of Ecuador.
In this free educational webinar, a leading representative from the Ecuador Ministry of Tourism will join three Ecuadorian tour operators in presenting a wide array of adventures in Ecuador, including the itinerary for AdventureWeek, a ten-day familiarization trip created especially for members and media from the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). Alice Gifford, ATTA’s Director of Community Development, will moderate. Participants will get a sneak peek at:
- AdventureWeek preliminary itinerary, including activities and overnight locations
- Highlights of Ecuador’s cultural, artistic and ecological diversity
- Special interest opportunities like the Chocolate Route, the Tren Crucero luxury train
- Best spots in Ecuador for birding, history, architecture, gastronomy or hiking
Guest Speakers:
María José Terán or Cristina Rivadeneira, Ecuador Ministry of Tourism
Francisco Dousdebés, Metropolitan Touring
Jorge Pérez, Tierra del Volcan
Thanks so much for posting this news and also for providing the opportunity to access more information via a webinar. I have made made two lengthy trips to Ecuador and have recorded much of my experience in the Ecuadorian gallery at The Narrative Lens. I will also be posting this information on my site Cuenca Cam and linking this in turn to Cuenca Expats, and Ecuador Expats in Facebook and also tweet the site @narrativelens.
