San Francisco – Evergreen Escapes, Cascadia’s premier tour operator and National Geographic Traveler Top 50 Tours of a Lifetime award winner, opened a new base camp in San Francisco this week. The new branch of the renowned company, which also has locations in Seattle and Portland, will begin offering small group day tours and private, custom escapes in May.
Evergreen Escapes will operate two day tours from San Francisco, allowing a maximum of ten guests on each tour to ensure a personalized experience. The Beyond San Francisco tour will explore Muir Woods and the Marin Headlands before returning to experience the city’s iconic sites, and the Natural Wonders of Yosemite tour will delve into the natural history and delicate ecosystems of Yosemite Valley and lesser-visited corners of the Park.
The tours will include pick-up and drop-off from downtown San Francisco hotels, transport in Mercedes vehicles, all entry fees, breakfast pastries, French-press coffee, tea, snacks & refreshments throughout the day, and a gourmet, family-style lunch, so that guests can take in their surroundings and truly escape their everyday. Both tours will also be led by experienced naturalist guides who will bring guests on interpretative nature walks to fully immerse them in their environments.

In addition to small group tours, Evergreen Escapes San Francisco will provide private, day and multi-day tours that can be fully customized. The office will serve as a base for guided experiences throughout Northern California, including destinations such as Yosemite National Park, Monterey, Sonoma, and Napa.
