The new branch of the renowned company, which also has locations in Seattle and Portland, will begin offering small group day tours and private, custom escapes in May.

Evergreen Escapes will operate two day tours from San Francisco, allowing a maximum of ten guests on each tour to ensure a personalized experience. The Beyond San Francisco tour will explore Muir Woods and the Marin Headlands before returning to experience the city’s iconic sites, and the Natural Wonders of Yosemite tour will delve into the natural history and delicate ecosystems of Yosemite Valley and lesser-visited corners of the Park.

24696778895_04065170b7_kThe tours will include pick-up and drop-off from downtown San Francisco hotels, transport in Mercedes vehicles, all entry fees,  breakfast pastries, French-press coffee, tea, snacks & refreshments throughout the day, and a gourmet, family-style lunch, so that guests can take in their surroundings and truly escape their everyday. Both tours will also be led by experienced naturalist guides who will bring guests on interpretative nature walks to fully immerse them in their environments.

“By keeping our groups small, we’re really able to connect with our guests in a genuine way and cater the tour to their interests,” said San Francisco General Manager, Melissa Chiella. “We’re able to reveal the natural, historical, and cultural significances of these special places in a way that you couldn’t on a large bus tour.”

In addition to small group tours, Evergreen Escapes San Francisco will provide private, day and multi-day tours that can be fully customized. The office will serve as a base for guided experiences throughout Northern California, including destinations such as Yosemite National Park, Monterey, Sonoma, and Napa.

“Expanding our operations to San Francisco allows us to plan and operate tours along the complete length of the Northern West Coast,” said Evergreen Escapes Owner, Jake Haupert. “As the region continues to grow in prominence, both internationally and domestically, travelers are looking for companies that can deliver a seamless experience from Vancouver to San Francisco. We’re excited to be that resource both for planning unforgettable trips and delivering amazing experiences.”

  1. My husband and I are interested in a Pacific NW tour from Vancouver to San Francisco. We want to be able to experience the Redwood Park, Muir Woods, Mt St. Helen’s and nature type of things more that spending a lot of time in cities. We would also be interested in being in a group where you can have dinner together for conversation and sharing. A tour in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland would acquaint us with the area plus whatever the tour has to offer from one destination to the next. If there is a side trip from Vancouver to Victoria that would also be of interested to us also. We are an older couple in our 70’s so we would not want to spend a half a day of walking. Short walking trips would be our preference. Please let us know what type of tour you offer, the accommodations, and the price. Your help would be appreciated.
