Christina Beckmann will add a new title to her resume in 2026: Climate Advisor to the ATTA. Prior to moving to climate platform Wren through the acquisition of Tomorrow’s Air, Christina Beckmann worked for twenty years in sustainable travel, fifteen of those with the ATTA in various roles. Since 2018 she has focused her energies on climate education and action, supporting companies around the world in accessing resources and expertise to help develop their climate action strategies, form partnerships, and inspire and educate teams and guests.

Christina’s resume is long with reports, conference sessions and papers exploring the myriad methods and strategies adventure travel companies are using to adapt to climate change. She was at the helm of the first industry conference focused on climate - Innovate for Tomorrow Climate Action Summit in 2024 - and led the first State of Climate Action in Adventure Travel research in 2020, which later became the foundation for the first ever UNWTO research focused on climate action in tourism

Although Christina spends most of her time these days with the team at Wren, encouraging and educating travelers and travel companies to support necessary climate solutions, she will also continue to support the ATTA organization and its global membership as an advisor on climate strategy. What you can expect: more great research and informational sessions in 2026 and beyond.
