Butterfield & Robinson, the world’s premier active travel company, is proud to announce its partnership with the world’s leading maker of Arctic luxury apparel, Canada Goose, to launch Canada Goose Adventure Trips. Beginning in 2017, these intimate group voyages provide the opportunity to explore some of the world’s most exclusive destinations, discover uncharted territories and find meaning taking part in once-in-a-lifetime adventures. With shared values of luxury and exploration, Butterfield & Robinson and Canada Goose will put these ideals at the forefront of each excursion.

The two iconic Canadian brands will launch the program with two unique trips: the first in Iceland, known for its cold oceanic climate and the second in Newfoundland, a province ruled by the harsh waters that surround it. Travelers are encouraged to be immersed in the untamed natural beauty of the regions and invited to put themselves out there, pushing their boundaries with rare and exciting experiences. Expeditionary activities will range from snorkeling and sea kayaking to snowmobiling and all-terrain adventures. Guests will stay at luxurious wilderness lodges, savor culinary delicacies and relish in many natural wonders.

“The world is a magical place and these fantastic adventures will make it easy for people to experience what’s great out there!” says Kevin Spreekmeester, Chief Brand Officer, Canada Goose. “Guests will experience Canada Goose product in the settings and environments we were inspired by and they were designed for.”

Guests will be at one with the elements by sporting apparel from the Canada Goose Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer collections, including the iconic Expedition Parka, technical rain shells, award-winning HyBridge Lite pieces and accessories.

“The joining of these two brands was destined. Both are founded on innovative design and are driven by a quest for creative excellence. The Canada Goose Adventure Trips are an extension of our shared ethos.” says Norman Howe, Butterfield & Robinson President & CEO.

Upcoming trips for 2017 include:

Canada Goose Iceland Adventure

Travelling in a modified 4X4 vehicle, travelers will set forth on the outdoor adventure of a lifetime. Hike through Thingvellir National Park and snorkel between two continental plates; visit one of Iceland’s most scenic waterfalls and snowmobile to Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier; walk along the Sólheimajökul glacier and soak in the blue geothermal waters of Blue Lagoon.

Canada Goose Newfoundland Adventure

Experience the rugged and raw nature of Newfoundland’s Fogo Island on this luxury adventure. Witness 10,000 year old icebergs sailing offshore and hike the trails of Fogo Island; join the crew of the MV Ketanja for an afternoon of ocean discovery and gaze upon ancient glaciers as they drift by; learn to row a punt, explore abandoned settlements, and enjoy a traditional boil-up lunch with new friends.

Groups will range between 10-20 guests and trip length between 6-10 nights, depending on destination and nature of the trip. Additional 2017 destinations will be announced later this year.
