AYGO was founded by Petr Ivanek after he returned to his home country of Slovakia from a period of study in the United Kingdom. He wanted to set up a travel company providing activity holidays in the Slovak Carpathian Mountains, quickly identifying this area as a fantastic destination for active yet affordable holidays. AYGO soon became one of the key industry leaders in Slovakia and extended operations to neighbouring countries Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.
After over 10 years of experience in the travel industry, he then set up the destination management company AYGO Adventure Travel, with a focus on providing quality-driven services at fair prices, offering services and support to travel companies running trips to Central and Eastern Europe.
At AYGO, we specialise in small group holidays covering a range of options for every season, ranging from snow-based activities in the winter to walking and trekking, cycling, cultural discovery, mixed-activity and wildlife tours in the summer.
