Beginning on April 8th, 2014, the ATTA will begin its annual spring series of AdventureConnect regional events across key cities in North America. Featuring an industry briefing with ATTA staff and cross-industry networking, these meetings are designed for outdoor and adventure-focused tour operators, travel agents, destination representatives, tourism boards, gear and apparel brands, travel writers/media and other related industry professionals to gain insight into adventure tourism trends and meet like-minded businesses.
This year’s event theme will carry forward the 2013 Adventure Travel World Summit theme “Imagine, Inspire, Invest” and offer attendees the opportunity to discuss hot button topics relevant to their businesses and global ATTA initiatives in a facilitated Peer-to-Peer Exchange. Each event will conclude with casual networking at local establishments in order to maximize interaction among attendees.
In order to further enhance its member services and networking opportunities, the ATTA is stringing east and west coast regional events together. This will allow ATTA members of any origin to utilize these events as a platform to build a North American ‘roadshow’ around these dates. The full calendar includes:
