The travel platform ASI Reisen is the first travel company in Germany and Austria to receive the internationally renowned B Corp certification. The consistent CSR focus of the family company was awarded one of the highest recognitions for social and ecological commitment at the beginning of October 2022.
B Corp Certification Confirms the Highest CSR Standards
The B Corp certification is considered one of the strictest and most prestigious CSR awards for companies. Over 12 months of evaluation, over 200 aspects of the company are examined. Since it was founded in 2006, more than 100,000 companies have started the so-called B Corp Assessment, but only slightly more than 5,500 have successfully completed it. The certified members include industry pioneers such as Patagonia and Tom's Shoes. "I am very pleased that our consistent and holistic work in the area of sustainability has made this certification possible and that we are now officially part of the B Corp movement," says Ambros Gasser, CEO of ASI Reisen.
No Time to Rest
The completed audit with a B Impact Score of 82.9 points is valid for three years. For Ambros Gasser there is no reason to rest on our laurels. “Our goal is to achieve over 90 points in the next audit in 3 years. I see that as our obligation to all stakeholders of ASI Reisen," he said.

Die Reiseplattform ASI Reisen erhält als erstes Reiseunternehmen in Deutschland und Österreich die international renommierte B Corp-Zertifizierung. Die konsequente CSR Fokussierung des Familienunternehmens wurde Anfang Oktober mit einer der höchsten Anerkennungen für sozialen und ökologischen Einsatz ausgezeichnet.
B Corp Zertifizierung bestätigt höchste CSR Standards
Die B Corp Zertifizierung gilt als eine der strengsten und renommiertesten CSR Auszeichnungen für Unternehmen. In über 12 Monaten der Evaluierung werden über 200 Aspekte des Unternehmens beleuchtet. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2006 haben mehr als 100.000 Unternehmen das sogenannte B Corp Assessment begonnen, jedoch nur etwas mehr als 5.500 dieses erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Unter den zertifizierten Mitgliedern finden sich unter anderem Branchenpioniere wie Patagonia oder Toms Schuhe. „Ich freue mich sehr, dass unsere konsequente und ganzheitliche Arbeit im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit diese Zertifizierung ermöglicht hat und wir nun offiziell Teil der B Corp Bewegung sind“, so Ambros Gasser, CEO von ASI Reisen.
Keine Zeit zum Ausruhen
Das abgeschlossene Audit mit einem B Impact Score von 82,9 Punkten hat eine Gültigkeit für drei Jahre. Für Ambros Gasser kein Grund sich auf dem Ergebnis auszuruhen: „Unser Ziel ist es bei der nächsten Audit in 3 Jahren über 90 Punkte zu erreichen. Das sehe ich als unsere Verpflichtung gegenüber allen Stakeholdern von ASI Reisen“.
