The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) continues to grow its business services division. As part of the association’s expansion, Amy Brown has joined the global team as digital creative and communications manager. Brown will lead the strategy for gear and media partnerships while simultaneously focusing on internal communication and public relations efforts for the ATTA.

Brown became an ATTA member during her tenure as marketing manager with long-time ATTA partner, ExOfficio. In that role, she managed an extensive, annual partnership with the ATTA including event sponsorship, storytelling, and content creation. Due to a close relationship with the ATTA, she was able to take advantage of several relationships to integrate new, innovative campaigns into ExOfficio’s marketing strategy that included global reach and deep influence within the adventure travel community, enhancing the ExOfficio brand story with its most relevant customers.

An avid outdoor adventure enthusiast and team player, Brown delivers on developing natural partnerships that create desired results for all parties. She thrives in creating synergy and efficiencies within organizations, allowing teams to spend more time on high-level creative thinking and business strategy. Her passion for storytelling translates to all forms of content, and she is eager to collaborate with colleagues on innovate opportunities to empower the ATTA’s global audience in the digital space. Brown looks forward to amplifying messaging that helps deliver travel experiences that protect natural and cultural capital and create shared economic value.

Brown reports to Casey Hanisko, the ATTA’s president of business services and events. A Pacific Northwest native, she now resides in northern Florida with her husband and Great Pyrenees dog, Falcor. When she’s not hard at work with the ATTA, she enjoys road trips, riding her motorcycle, fishing, eating tacos, and shopping for international plane tickets.
