The Santa Rosa based AmeriCan Adventures will continue with same staff and management, led by Matt Berna, General Manager. Adding to the company’s memorable month, AmeriCan Adventures was selected as one of OUTSIDE’s Best Places to Work 2015.

“Over the last year, we have been looking at ways to develop a new name for ourselves – something that was more representative of our primary business function of operating group adventures across North America,” said Berna.  “We believe this new trade name, and look and feel, will be more relevant to our clients and business partners.”

AmeriCan Adventures develops and operates trips for companies such as Exodus, Grand American Adventures, Trek America, and Intrepid, as well as others.   In addition, the company provides unique, custom made tours for private groups, schools, and clubs.

AmeriCan Adventures will continue to operate its satellite bases in Wharton (New Jersey) and Vancouver (British Columbia).

Recognized by OUTSIDE, AmeriCan Adventures has received a top 10 billing in the Adventure Travel jobs category. Each year, OUTSIDE recognizes the top 100 companies in the United States that help their employees strike the ideal balance between work and play. These companies encourage employees to lead an active lifestyle, are eco-conscious, and prioritize giving back to the community.
