The Adventure Travel Trade Association is bringing AdventureWEEK to Baños, Ecuador, and applications are now open for international buyers and travel media. Running 21–28 October 2026, AdventureWEEK Baños will offer a week of immersive field experiences, structured marketplace sessions, and the kind of on-the-ground introductions to local operators and suppliers that translate directly into lasting business partnerships.
What Is AdventureWEEK?
AdventureWEEK is a fully-hosted intensive familiarization trip (FAM) in which the ATTA partners with a destination to showcase its best adventure travel offerings. For outbound tour operators, specialized travel agents, and international travel media, it is a rare opportunity to experience a destination in depth — not from a hotel conference room, but from river corridors, mountain trails, and cloud forest lodges. During the week, participants attend two or three structured Marketplace sessions where they meet face-to-face with local operators and ground suppliers. A multimedia storytelling team joins to document the experience and amplify the destination through photos, video, and social media.

What Baños Has in Store
Few destinations in Ecuador — or in all of South America — pack as much variety into such a compact space.
