The 2nd annual ATMEX event, which was held in Veracruz August 14-17th, matched international buyers, media and speakers to a specially selected pool of regional adventure tourism operators, and highlighted unique and authentic Mexican products and itineraries.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in adventure FAMs throughout the country in addition to attending educational sessions that focused on sustainability, product development, storytelling and in-depth sessions on Mexico's adventure products.
International tour operators and travel advisors attended this year's 2013 ATMEX (Adventure Travel Mexico). Buyers had the opportunity to network, learn and discuss partnerships with the local Mexico suppliers. Prior to ATMEX, buyers had the opportunity to participate in adventure FAMs around Mexico.
Mexican suppliers from around the country attended ATMEX 2013 this August in Veracruz, Mexico. Following a highly successful event in 2012 the Mexican operators attended the event in order to network, learn and discuss partnership opportunities with international buyers as well as get exposed to international media.
