The Strathspey & Badenoch Herald covered the upcoming 2010 Adventure Travel World Summit that the ATTA will be holding in Aviemore, Scotland from October 4-7th. The article, which calls the Summit a "big coup," emphasizes the role local businesses will play not only in providing the Pre-Summit Adventures and Day of Adventure activities for delegates, but the exposure local merchants will have to the 600+ global adventure travel industry professionals attending.

Alan Rankin, Cairngorms Business Partnership Chief Executive, urged local businesses to prepare for the event and consider options such as staying open later to accommodate Summit delegates.

“It is an incredibly exciting – not to mention important – event for not just Badenoch and Strathspey, but the whole of the Highlands and Scotland." said Mr. Rankin. "These delegates represent some of the world’s biggest travel operators world and media agencies associated with the outdoor leisure market, so it is vital that as a destination we offer them a stunning time in the area.”
