The third season of Ocean Kayak presents: The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons kicks off this week on the World Fishing Network (WFN) as renowned big game kayak angler Jim Sammons heads to Panama to test out a new technique for landing big tuna. During Jim's last visit to Panama, a huge Yellowfin tuna wore Jim down to the point where he needed to let his support boat land the fish. With redemption in mind, Jim devised a technique to land big tuna from his kayak, and he's headed back to Panama to test his system out.
The Kayak Fishing Show with Jim Sammons represents a fresh new style of fishing show, which entertains, inspires, educates, and appeals to viewers whether or not they have ever considered fishing from a kayak. Every episode follows Sammons around North America and beyond on the fishing adventure of a lifetime. In addition to his Panama adventures, Season 3 takes Jim fly-in fishing deep in Canada's wilderness, marlin fishing in Baja, giant sturgeon fishing in British Columbia, tarpon fishing in Costa Rica, halibut fishing in remote corners of Alaska, and yellowtail fishing around Mexico's Cedros Island.
Season 3 of the Kayak Fishing Show premieres Sunday, March 25, at 9:00pm ET on WFN and WFN HD, with additional showings taking place Monday at 1:00pm and 10:30pm, Tuesday at 6:30am and 2:30pm and Sunday at 5:00am.
