The Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) honored Ripon Printers with 24 Graphic Excellence Awards in the 2014 competition. The honors included three first-place, 10 second-place and 11 third- place honors across 11 different categories with multiple winners in Web Press Printing, Uncoated Paper Heatset (4 or more colors), Booklet or Brochure Series and Web Press Printing Coated Paper (4 or more colors).
This year’s competition was comprised of more than 1,000 entries from printing and finishing companies throughout Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Judges recognized the combination of craftsmanship and technology in producing outstanding print materials.
“I was especially pleased that we not only garnered so many awards, but also that the winning entries represented our full range of printing and binding platforms,” says Andy Lyke, President and CEO of Ripon Printers. “The results are a great testament to the combination of quality design by our customers and quality production by our craftspeople.”
First-place winners are automatically entered into the Premier Print/Benny competition. This year‘s competition also marks the fourteenth consecutive year that Ripon Printers has won at least one first-place award.
