Quito, ECUADOR – Luxury South American inbound tour operator Quasar Expeditions,  most famously known for operating small yacht expeditions in the Galapagos Islands, is pleased to announce their continuously support and responsible business practices with the following Organizations:

Quasar Expeditions supports the Fiver Children’s Foundation, which is a non-profit youth development organization that empowers children from undeserved communities to develop life skills and to reach their full potential. This organization’s commitment to each child includes year-round mentoring and counseling programs, character building residential summer programs, and partnerships with schools and community based organizations.

Quasar Expeditions also participates in the annual “Culinary Evening with the California Winemeaster’s Charity Event” which supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This cause is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis and funds more CF research than any other organization in the world. In fact, nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.

Quasar Expeditions is also in partnership with The Brain and Spine Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life for people with medical conditions of the brain and spine, thereby helping reduce neurological disabilities by providing a national focus on information, education and resources.

Quasar’s philosophy does not only set the standard for excellence in safety and service throughout our various destinations but we also firmly believe in supporting and giving back to those that are in need or stand for worthy causes. As we cannot do this alone, for this we send a warm and heartfelt thank you to each and every guest and passenger we’ve had the honor of hosting as it they who have made these efforts and results possible.
