Niche tourism consultancy Bannikin Travel & Tourism has been named the North American media relations representation for Natural Habitat Adventures, a world leader in responsible adventure travel and wildlife expeditions.

As Natural Habitat Adventures' media relations representation, Bannikin will work closely with North American media to share the company's compelling brand story and its world-class wildlife adventures. Through proactive and creative media campaigns, experiential press trips and profiling opportunities, Bannikin will drive awareness to the company's portfolio of conservation-focused travel and ecotourism experiences.

"Bannikin is elated to be representing one of the industry's leaders in wildlife and adventure travel," says Bannikin Director Jillian Dickens. "Our mandate it to generate increased brand awareness for Natural Habitat Adventures and their specialty travel experiences, from Alaskan grizzly bear encounters to Greenland Base Camp explorations, and we can't wait to dig in."

A leader in nature and wildlife expeditions since 1985, Natural Habitat Adventures offers encounters with charismatic megafauna and other wildlife-centric travel experiences from polar bear tours in Churchill to small-group Galapagos cruises and African safaris. These journeys, led by professional naturalist guides, reveal the planet's most extraordinary nature destinations. Natural Habitat Adventures is the world's first 100-percent carbon-neutral travel company and the conservation travel partner of World Wildlife Fund.

"Natural Habitat Adventures is bursting with unique news and travel experiences, and we needed a trusted agency to help us better share these stories with the media. We are happy to have found that in Bannikin," says Ted Martens, Natural Habitat Adventures' Vice President, Marketing & Sustainability. "It was very important to us to choose an established media relations team who not only have an excellent reputation, but who are also dedicated to the niche and adventure travel industry."
