Namibian Tourism Minister Unveils the Swiss Clock in Ceremony Marking Countdown to ATWS 2013

348 days today, 12/11/12, and counting down. At the start of a full working week, Namibians in and around the Coastal town of Swakopmund, the host for ATWS 2013 have the opportunity to look at the Swiss Clock daily outside the entrance of the Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre, to remind them that time is running and ATWS 2013 fast approaching. There is great excitement and enthusiam, with industry stakeholders meeting for briefings & tourism trading in Windhoek on 20 November and in Swakopmund on 23 November, to discuss ATWS 2013 preparations. We Namibians are looking forward to be your perfect hosts pre- during and post ATWS 2013!

On Swiss Time: Namibia officially unveiled the Swiss railway clock they received as a gift on the closing night of the ATWS in Lucerne. The hotel, which will be the main venue for the Summit (visible in the picture) used to be a train station, what a perfect fit!
