Cruise industry veteran relocates to Hurtigruten’s Seattle office to lead Customer Sales Center
Hurtigruten, the world leader in exploration travel, has appointed Angel Moledo as Vice President, Customer Sales & Service for the Americas, based in its Seattle regional headquarters. He will return to the U.S. from Tallinn, Estonia, to contribute to Hurtigruten’s commercial growth strategy as a member of the America’s leadership team, effective February 1st.

Our captains, crew, and expedition teams offer our guests exceptional experiences that allow them to connect with their inner explorer. Angel Moledo has nearly a dozen years with the company and his deep understanding of our shoreside and shipboard operations make him uniquely qualified to develop and implement sales support, quality assurance, and internal training programs. He will strengthen support for our trade partners and ensure our agents are well taken care of throughout the booking process,” noted Hurtigruten Americas President, William Harber.
For Hurtigruten, Moledo is charged with supporting travel agent and tour operator sales across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. He will strengthen the Seattle Customer Sales Center for travel agent partners and provide better integration to Hurtigruten’s operations for tour operators. “I’m really pleased that Hurtigruten has appointed me to this position. It will be exciting to work with the U.S. team and be part of the expansion plans for a such a key region for growth,” added Angel Moledo, Hurtigruten’s Vice President, Customer Sales & Service for the Americas.
Moledo has over 25 years of experience, including 18 in the cruise industry. He was most recently responsible for Hurtigruten’s Customer Sales Center in Tallinn, Estonia, managing over 200 local team members and another 50 globally. He has also held positions with Hurtigruten in Oslo and New York. Earlier in his career, Moledo served as Director of Sales & Reservations at Luxury Cruise Center, Passenger Services Manager at Oceania Cruises, and Group Sales & Service Manager at Royal Caribbean International.
