Heliconia is pleased to announce the launch of their new paddling YouTube series, Paddle Tales, which will launch on the PaddleTV YouTube Channel on Thursday, September 27th.

Produced in partnership with Bell Fund — a certified independent production fund — Paddle Tales is a short form digital, adventure travel series that is designed to resonate with anyone with an interest in the outdoors, not just paddlers. The series kicks off by following show host and world-renowned paddler, Ken Whiting, as he travels throughout the stunning province of Québec, exploring the many regions, meeting interesting people, and embarking on a variety of paddling adventures. Combining beautiful cinematography, humor, adventure, and interesting stories, Ken’s goal is to inspire others to take a break from their screens and explore our spectacular natural world.

Paddle Tales is much more than a paddling show — it’s an adventure travel show that tells the stories of amazing places, interesting people, and takes people on breathtaking paddling adventures,” explains Heliconia Producer and Paddle Tales host, Ken Whiting, “That’s one of the things I love about paddling. Not only are the adventures fantastic, but paddling provides a totally unique way to experience a place, and to meet fascinating people.”

In this first season of Paddle Tales, Ken Whiting’s adventures will take viewers sea kayaking through caves in les Îles de la Madeleine, whitewater kayaking down the remote and powerful Kipawa River, kayak touring with puffin and monoliths on the North Coast of the Saint Lawrence, stand up paddling down the impossibly clear Bonaventure river in Gaspésie, and much more.

Watch the trailer for the series here, and be sure to subscribe to the PaddleTV YouTube channel to receive notifications about the new releases each week.
