Readers Name Cruise Line Top Pick for Fifth Consecutive Year
Minneapolis, MN – Borton Overseas, the U.S. sales, marketing and reservation headquarters for UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, is pleased to announce the operator as the ‘Best Cruise Line for Groups’ as voted by the readers of Group Leisure magazine for the fifth consecutive year.
On September 24, 2014, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines surpassed competitors and was presented with the title at the awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. The award recognizes the very best group cruise experience, from the initial booking process to onboard facilities, along with the quality of excursions offered.
Founded in 1997, the ‘Group Leisure Awards’ are voted for by active group travel organizers from sports and social clubs, retired associations, special interest societies and other groups. The criteria are based upon all aspects and factors that comprise the best group experience across 21 categories.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Group & Specialist Sales Manager, Ellie Fulcher, said of the award, “At Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, we are very proud of the personalized service that we are able to offer to group travel organizers, which is reflected in our company ethos of ‘It’s all about the people!’ We provide tailor-made quotations to suit individual group requirements, and we are also able to offer visits to our ships, in UK ports, so that GTOs can see what we have to offer at first hand.”
Fred. Olsen’s bespoke group service appeals to all types of groups, including family and friendship groups, corporate and incentive groups and various clubs, associations and societies.
