Sarah Roos-Essl, a former Head of Travel Industry Revenue Partnerships at Twitter, has moved into a new leadership role as Director of Content at Vienna-based TourRadar, the world’s first Adventure Booking Platform.

Sarah Roos-Essl is a San Francisco Bay Area tech veteran with nearly 20 years of experience leading global content and revenue teams for companies like Twitter, Facebook, and Travelzoo.  The focus of her career has been anchored in the travel industry and how travel brands leverage social media, online publishing, and marketplace channels to support and grow their businesses. Sarah joins TourRadar as the Director of Content, where she will oversee the company's content and brand strategy moving forward. She is now based in Vienna, Austria.

TourRadar is the world’s largest online Adventure Booking Platform for multi-day adventures. It offers 50,000+ trips in 200 countries, from hiking Machu Picchu to wine tasting in Provence. The adventures vary in size from small groups to completely private tours for families, and all are led by knowledgeable locals who share the authentic, hidden gems of their regions.
