&Beyond is aware of the recent incidents in Kenya where on Tuesday, 6 August it was reported that Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was closed due to a fuel shortage, and as a result scheduled flights after 15h00 did not depart. This morning, Wednesday 7 August a fire broke out at the main international arrivals terminal. Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has reported that JKIA has consequently been closed, passengers evacuated and all arriving and departing flights diverted or re-routed.

&Beyond will be in contact with our trade partners on any bookings that have been impacted, and guests currently in Kenya or scheduled to depart through JKIA are being assisted to amend their onward journey.

&Beyond's regional offices in Nairobi and Arusha are always on call and local teams are constantly updated with the latest information.
