During the several weeks since last reporting to AdventureTravelNews readers, 34 organizations have newly joined, or renewed their commitment, to the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) for this coming year. This brings the ATTA's membership to more than 430 organizations worldwide.

The increase in membership is indicative of the response to new initiatives by the ATTA. In March of this year, the ATTA launched a pragmatic, strategic and engaging online member community, labeled The HUB, which allows members -- now more than 400 individuals currently plugged in -- to interconnect, access their benefits 24 hours a day, and advance industry discussions via online forums. Also a key focus in 2009 has been the educational series, ATTA Members Tune In, which has featured monthly Webinars with expert presenters on a broad range of topics.
