About the Presenter:

Mike Geraci is V.P. of Converged Media at MercuryCSC, a leading creative voice in the geotourism and outdoor industries. Mike is charged with orchestrating brand opportunities and strategies across paid, earned, owned, and social media channels.

Mike’s journey started as a freelance writer, DJ, and live TV producer and host. During his subsequent 15-year marketing career, he has created and managed PR, content, social, and brand communications campaigns for more than 50 brands in the travel and outdoor industries, including Backcountry.com, Terra Resort Group, Outdoor Research, and PowerBar.

His unique combination of media, brand, and PR experience has informed his progressive approach to brand marketing.

Mike is author of ‘What is True? The Foundation of a Kick-Ass Brand.’

About the Presenter:

Besides global e-strategy consulting with a focus on social media, online branding, and electronic distribution, Jens is currently the co-founder and President of Dragon Trail, a new digital marketing and travel technology company that assists travel organizations to market to affluent Chinese consumers via innovative influencer and viral marketing techniques leveraging technology, Internet, and social media channels. He also founded ChinaTravelTrends.com, a resource portal to educate the tourism industry about the potential of the Chinese travel market – primarily outbound.

A dual German and Canadian citizen, educated at Cornell University with a Masters of Management in Hospitality, and regarded as a thought-leader and innovator by his peers, he was recognized as one of the travel industry’s top 100 rising stars by Travel Agent Magazine in 2003, and was listed as one of the 25 Most Extraordinary Sales and Marketing Minds in Hospitality and Travel in 2004 and 2005. Most recently Jens was in charge of E-Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and Campaign Management at the Canadian Tourism Commission, as Executive Director of Marketing Strategy. Previously, he was head of Internet Strategy at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Executive Director of Marketing Strategy for Fairmont’s Residence Club division. Jens also serves on the 2011 Adventure Travel World Summit Advisory Committee.
