Adventure Center Donates $10 to UNICEF’s “Horn of Africa” Program for Every Africa Booking Made by Oct. 31
New York, NY – Adventure Center, which has been operating tours in Africa for 40 years, has announced a $10 donation to UNICEF’s “Horn of Africa” Program will be made for each booking made by Oct. 31, 2011, on any of its diverse array of Africa tour offerings. The program focuses on life-saving efforts for children and women in areas that were hardest hit by drought, providing therapeutic and supplementary feeding programs, mobile health teams, water and sanitation assistance and educational programs – to name a few. Travelers can choose from one of the dozens of options provided by Adventure Center – ranging from budget tours at $50 a day to more luxurious options for up to $1,000 a day – or feel free to make a personal donation via the link at www.adventurecenter.com.
Whether travelers are seeking a five-day adrenaline-fueled adventure or a 50-day life-changing experience, Adventure Center has an option for everyone. Choices include the seven-day “Kenya Flying Safari,” which saves time over driving and affords incredible birds-eye views as it visits Nairobi, Amboseli National Park, Masai Mara National Park and the Samburu Game Reserve; the 21-day “African Wanderer Northbound,” an overland adventure from Livingstone to Nairobi that takes in the famous Victoria Falls, Zambia, Malawi, the Serengeti Plains and Ngorongoro Crater; and the 50-day “Southern African Loop,” a round-trip adventure from Johannesburg that allows travelers to explore Cape Town, dive into the crystal waters off the Mozambique Coast, see elephants and other wildlife at Chobe National Park and traverse landscape ranging from ancient cycads to sand dunes.
